Mrs. Dora Elizabeth GASS, 81, died at 12:30 Wednesday Jan 15, 1958 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Sam Link of Waveland RR after an illness of 3 weeks. Mrs. Gass was born in Ky, April 1877, the daughter of Will and Mary Edens. She was married to Landon Gass in Kentucky. Survivors inclue four daughters, Iva Good, Martinsville; Velma McGown, Indianapolis; Oma Edens, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Sam Link; two sons, Roy of Scottsville, Ky and John of Crawfordsville; a stepson, Walter Benson Gass, Moro, Ill; a sister, Minnie Barnes, Lafayette and a brother, Andrew Edens, Portland, Tenn; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at McGaughey Funeral Home, Russellville with Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in charge. The Rev. Lowell Morriss will officiate and burial in New Ross Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
